Itopride Hydrochloride
Composition
Itopri 50 Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Itopride Hydrochloride INN 50 mg.
Indications
Itopride Hydrochloride is used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders like dyspepsia, bloating, upper abdominal pain, anorexia, heartburn, nausea and vomiting.
Dosage & Administration
Adult: Recommended dose 50 mg three times a day before meal or as directed by the physicians.
Domperidon
Composition:
Vomitop Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Domperidone maleate BP equivalent to 10 mg Domperidone.
Indication:
Prevention & symptomatic relief of acute nausea and vomiting of adults (from any cause specially due to cytotoxic therapy & radiotherapy). Nausea & vomiting associated with L-dopa and bromocriptine treatment for parkinsonian patients. Nausea & vomiting due to migraine, head injury, pancreatitis, gastritis, hepatitis, post-gastrectomy syndrome, haemodialysis and dysmenorrhoea. Non ulcer dyspepsia, oesophageal reflux, reflux oesophagitis & gastritis.
Speeding of barium transit in 'follow through' radiological studies.
Dose & Administration:
Adult & Elderly patients: 10-20 mg every 4-8 hours. Domperidone should be taken 15-30 minutes before meal or as directed by the physician.
Prucalopride
Composition
Prulicon 1 Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Prucalopride Succinate INN equivalent to Prucalopride 1 mg.
Prulicon 2 Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Prucalopride Succinate INN equivalent to Prucalopride 2 mg.
Indication
Prucalopride is indicated for Chronic Idiopathic Constipation.
Dose & Administration
Adults (18 years of age and older): 2 mg once daily.
Elderly (over 65 years of age): 1 mg once daily.
Patients with severe renal impairment: 1 mg once daily. Should be taken with or without food or as directed by the physician.
