Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone
Composition
Stedex -C Sterile Eye/Ear Drops: Each ml drops contains
Chloramphenicol BP 5 mg & Dexamethasone Phosphate USP 1 mg..
Indications
Eye: For steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular condition for which a corticosteriod is indicated and where bacterial infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists. For inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the
globe where the inherent risk of steroid use in certain infective conjunctivitis is accepted to obtain a diminution in edema and inflammation. For chronic anterior uveitis and corneal injury from chemical, radiation or thermal burns, or penetration of foreign bodies.
Ear: Otitis externa, Otitis media and chronic suppurative otitis media.
Dosage & Administration
Eye: 1 or 2 drops is instilled into the affected eyes every 3 or 4 hours, or more frequently if deemed advisable by the prescribing physician.
Administration should be continued day and night for the first 48 hours, after which the interval between applications may be increased. Treatment should be continued for at least 48 hours after the eye appears normal or as directed by the physician.
Ear: For all infections two to three drops every two to three hours initially. Frequency should be decreased gradually as warranted by improvement in clinical signs. Care should be taken not to discontinue therapy prematurely or as directed by the physician.
Loteprednol Etabonate + Tobramycin
Composition
Loteba Sterile Eye Suspension: Each ml suspension contains Loteprednol Etabonate INN 5 mg & Tobramycin USP 3 mg.
Indications
Loteba is indicated for steroid responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated and where superficial bacterial ocular infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists. The use of a combination drug with an anti-infective component is indicated where the risk of superficial ocular infection is high, where dangerous number of bacteria will be present in the eye.
Shake the bottle well before use Apply 1 to 2 drops of Loteba into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (s) every 4 to 6 hours.During the initial 24 to 48 hours, the dosing may be increased, to every 1 to 2 hours. Frequency should be decreased gradually as warranted by improvement in clinical signs. Care should be taken not to discontinue therapy prematurely or as directed by the physician.
Moxifloxacin + Dexamethasone
Composition:
Cinagen™-D Sterile Eye Drops: Each ml contains Moxifloxacin
Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Moxifloxacin 5 mg and Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate USP equivalent to Dexamethasone Phosphate 1 mg.
Preservative: Sodium Perborate BP 0.001%.
Indications:
Cinagen™-D Sterile Eye Drops is indicated for the treatment of eye infections caused by susceptible microorganisms and prevention of inflammation and bacterial infection occurred after ocular surgery.
Dosage and administration:
In the prevention of infection and postoperative ocular inflammation, instill 1 drop 4 times per day. Frequency should be decreased gradually with improvement of clinical signs or as directed by the physician.
